Hi - Considering shipping cisco equipment internationally from the US. Anyone done this for a large deployment, is there a way to simply the overall process

at a former company our group had the responsibility for shipping Cisco equipment to International locations (particularly the Caribbean, Central & South America).

We found it was best to purchase from a Cisco partner in the actual country (the equipment will be installed in) - this will prevent any warranty issues and simplified the process. Regardless, brokerage and custom fees and taxes will still apply but are handled locally at the destination country.

Also be aware of the encryption laws when shipping to International locations. Cisco have a complete list of countries where the encryption must be limited.
