Cisco ASA Model?

Hi,

We're thinking of deploying Cisco ASA on our network. We have an 8 Mbps Internet connection. We have about 4,000 users on our network, an e-mail server which receives a max. of around 750,000 e-mails /day, and a web/ftp server that is not that busy.

I've looked at:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6120/prod_models_comparison.html

How can I determine the maximum firewall connections and firewall connections/second of my network. I think this should be one of my basis for selection of which model? Other basis to consider?

Thanks.

Regards,

Tony

I would suggest something like MRTG or RTG to give you a baseline of how many connections are going through your firewall.
