2801 - phones not automatically creating DN's

On my old UC520 my phones used to create an ephone and ephone dn when I plugged them in.

On my 2801 nothing of the sort happens, ive got to manually create them. Any ideas if this functionality is just unique to the UC520?

no, it's not unique to UC520, the SW of the UC520 is a CME 4.2 so all the functionalities are in a regular CME

cheers mate, any idea how I turn it on?

you need to have auto registration enabled under telephony service.
