3750 Etherchannel Load balancing

Our access switches consist of a 3 3750's in a stack. I created an etherchannel from the 3750 to a 6509, I used 1 fiber link from each of the 3750's to create a 3 port etherchannel. I also recently changed the port from a layer 2 connection to the 6509 to a L3 router port. Everything is working fine, then last weekend I tried changing the load balancing to src-dst-ip, and I had all sorts of connectivity problems. Some hosts worked fine, most didn't. What would be the cause of that? it works fine with the default source mac address load balancing.

No, changing the Ether Channel configuration to src-dst-ip won't change the functionality of the channel.

As additional reference, the load balance non-IP packet the Catalyst will use the src-dst-mac load balancing

to distribute traffic among ether channel links when src-dest-ip is configured.
