MeetingPlace Express and Video Questions

Hello there!

I have just recently implimented an MPE solution, version 2.0.2.126. We have licenses for video, but we are trying to do the following things for it, with problems with each one:

1) one-way video. We want to have one end with a video camera (Cisco or other brand), and have the other end see the video without having a video endpoint. How can we accomplish

this in MPE?

2) Is it possible to increase the screen refresh rate for screen sharing? How would we accomplish this?

3) Is it possible to do a video conference with MPE where one video endpoint is internal, and the other is external? How can we configure that, and can we use any video camera for that?

Thanks in advance!

Ad hoc conferencing is available only to endpoint devices that are registered to Cisco Unified CallManager.Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Express includes a software-based video mixer that switches the video streams based on the current active speaker, as determined by the software-based audio mixer on the same server. The voice-activated display includes only one video stream at a time (1x1 layout) using Common Intermediate Format (CIF) dimensions.

The video stream of the active speaker is sent to all endpoints in the conference, and the video stream of the previous speaker is sent to the current active speaker. When only one endpoint is in the conference, then that endpoint displays its own video stream.
