CRS historical report unable to login using client

Dear all,


I've been trying to log in to the CRS historical report and i keep getting the error message " an error occurred while attempting to communicate with web server. check your user id and password and try again". The thing is that i have configured the user at the historical reporting> user management.


I am able to login to the CRS supervisor page using the same user ID. Any idea what am i missing here? I've followed the steps in the configuration guide. Thanks in advance.

Hi,


Did you change the authentication mode of the MSDE/SQL Database.


It should be Windows Authentication Mode and not Windows + SQL.


If you have a CCM v4.X try to mount the IPCC database with te enterprise manager on the CCM to verify the Authentication Mode.

I don't think i've changed the authentication mode. How do i go about to changing that? anyway, i am using CM5.1.

Problem was resolved after i've reinstalled the IPCC. According to TAC, some of my files were corrupted and needed a fresh install.
