Is there any way to configure call manager express to get directories from LDAP server.

Thnx in advance.

Not directly. You need a software module that is in between the LDAP server and phone XML services. This module either your develop custom, or contact some developer to have it done.

As mentioned in the earlier post, its not straight forward.

Recently Cisco launched Cisco Unified Application Environment program, where all the technology partners develop these custom built applications for UC products.

You can use

It's suite of IP Phone services for Cisco IP Phones and the base feature of this softwware is to provide Directories. Application has also web interface.

Contacts can be managed using web interface. There is also possibility to import contacts from MS Excel file or synchronize with any LDAP server, Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, other database...
