7937 Power Requirements

Does the external mic kit require any additional power above the 802.3af Class 3 requirements, that the phone requires? I will be plug phone into a 3560, but was wondering if the additional mics required using the external power supply.

Thanks in advance for any help with this matter.

Hi Trent,

The use of the External Mic Kit does not require any additional power. The ability to completely power the 7937 with just Class 3 PoE is one of the nice design features (no more spider-web of cables!)
