Guys, please confirm if I put a Cisco 1841 to handle a 10Mbps MPLS circuit I will be alright.

In addition to the Fastethernet copper MPLS connection, I need to handle (3) FastEthernet connections.

Yes, however do not expect that you will be able to route nowhere near wire speed across the FE interfaces. Actually when presented with significant traffic the router can 'sit' due to excessive CPU traffic. Recommendation is to use a L3 switch even small like the 3560 8 ports to route across LANs.

Thanks.

Darn. However, I see the 1841 is limited to (2) Fa ports.Isn't that right?

I need total of (4) ethernet ports.

HI, [Pls RATE all Informative POST]

If i am not wrong in understanding your question.

May be you are referring to Factory Manufactured and delivered Box. By default it could / will have only 2" Fa Ports Integrated.

So, get the additional Fa Card Slot having 2" more additional switch PORT and you can insert in the Router.

If you add an hwic-4esw, you will have four additional FE ports.

These are mainly L2 ports, but also have limited L3 functionality with a VLAN config.
