Licensing for Operations Manager - expansion of devices

Hi

We need to extend the number of monitored devices of our customer's Unified Communications Operations Manager.

Initially we bought the bundle represented by the part number "CUCMS-MON-1K-PK9", which comprises up to 1000 IP phones and 300 devices to be monitored. The number of device monitoring licenses (not just IP phones) is now insufficient and it's not clear for us what package we need to purchase, since we primarily need more of those device monitoring licenses (because we have a huge number of VG224's to monitor, for example).

I know that VG's don't require DLUs to be activated on the UCM, but it seems that with the Operations Manager, it's not like that.

We found a few part numbers, like CUOM1X-20SMMB-UPK9 , CUOM1X-20PMMB-UPK9 , CUCMS-MON-1K-PK9 but we couldn't find what kind of licenses (phones and devices) they comprise, either because some of these parts are just upgrades from version 1.1 to 2.0 or because there's no details about how many device monitoring licenses they have.

Do you know what are the available choices to upgrade the number of devices (not only IP phones) monitored by the Operations Manager ?

I am not too sure what kind of licenses you need to buy for devices but for an upgrade to another 1000 IP phones "CUOM1X-20P2KUPK9" is the license we used. hope this helps.

Doesn't this package you bought specifies the number of devices and IP phones licensed for management ? Or it just covers "1000 phones" and that's all ?
