Dear all,

Do anybody have an idea of why ISp ask customer to crate Route Object in the registry site.

And if route object is created for /20 pool then Provider asks to create route object for /24 pool which he is going to announce through provider

Please suggest

HI Mahesh, [Pls RATE if HELPS]

MOST of the Level-1 ISP's will accept the Prefixe's only if the "Route-Object" is created with APNIC.

The APNIC is the General body, authorises the Prefixes to which company they belong / registered to and in addition how it was advertised to the Service Provider and what are the Primary / Secondary / Tertiary provider details.

This Enable's easy database Management across Internet Cloud.

All ISP will accept and also advertise only /24 prefix and not more than that. It's a General Standard followed across the Internet Cloud to avoid the Network Failures. This standard was followed, to avoid the more specific prefixes took over the aggregation routes.

Hope I am Informative.

Pls RATE if HELPS

Best Regards,
