Call Transfer on Shared line IP Phones

I have a SRST location that is attached to CCM 6. When the admin (who shares a line apperance)attempts to transfer a caller to her boss she states it goes to vm instead of ringing. I ask if it was something that has been happening for a long time or is this a recent issue she replied it was recent. I asked if the other phone had DND or imed divert activated. My question is if neither of these conditions exist what else could cause the transfer to go directly to VM?

I have this problem too.

what's the busy trigger on the boss's phone?

even if you have shared line the max # of calls and busy trigger can be different for each phone

Hi Phillip,

If she is answering on the Shared "boss" line does she transfer to a secondary DN? If she is answering on her own line maybe the Bosses line is on Call Forward All to VM?
