we use an access server to provide internet connection to our employees from home. RAS uses E1 and analog modems.

RAS sends many log messages to syslog server about interfaces up/down events.

how can we disable these messages.

i tried no logging event link-status, but i still receive log msg!

interface Serial3/0:15

ip unnumbered FastEthernet0/0

encapsulation ppp

no logging event link-status

pls try to disable "snmp trap link-status " under ports.
