I haven't played much with NCM, but one of my colleagues does a lot with it, and he raves about how powerful its scripting features are. He can use NCM's Tcl scripting capability to implement many management functions that LMS is not yet capable of doing. Here is the main documentation site for NCM:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6923/tsd_products_support_series_home.html

I do not know if it can feed Servicedesk. LMS does not have any direct hooks into it.
