Create process error : \\<ip address of the IPCC>\DESKTOP_CFG\Desktop\Agent

New install of 3.5.4sr2 with CM4.2.3sr1

When I run:


I get Create process error : \\\DESKTOP_CFG\Desktop\Agent

I don't have a in my network. What is this ip address suppose to refer to?

I did a search and found

Switch CTI Server A=

Switch CTI Server A Type=IPAddress

Switch CTI Port A=42027

So shouldn't my cti server refer to my Callmanager server. Has anyone had this problem and how do I fix this?

try the following steps:

First remove the association with IP phone and/or device profile for the user in question.

Second, remove the CTI enable checkmark and click update.

Then delete the user in AD. If you have a resource already deleted and still show up as ICD resource, add back the user in AD

Actually, I had to follow the procedure "changing IP address" in the admin quide to fix this but thanks for your reply anyways.
