Does any one have experience multicasting voice over a wireless network?


Is there any issues or things to consider?

Multicast network traffic can be problematic on a wireless network, especially for wireless voice networks. Although 802.11b WLANs are capable of sending multicast IP packets, there are technical limitations that make multicast unsuitable for voice networks and real-time applications such as multicast video.
