Hi All,
Can someone please explain how the 'byte-count' values are calculated for Custom Queuing, particularly when assigning a certain percentage to say three different queues for protocols with various packet size.
For example:
I would like to allocate 50% of my bandwidth to HTTP traffic, where the packet size is 750 bytes. 35% for DNS traffic with a packet size of 450 bytes. 15% for Telnet traffic that has a packet size of 350 bytes.
Is there a formula I can use to calculate these values? I am a little confused as to what the byte-count values should be.
Thanks in advanced.
Regards,
Mario.
