HWIC Cards on 3845 router

DEAR EXPERT,

I HAVE A 3845 ROUTER RUNNING C3845-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M. i inserted the first HWIC card on it and it was working normmal. I purchased another HWIC card and inserted on it, the router detected it but it does not transmit data. tried with several HWIC card the same thing even with different slots. the same experience with 2800 router i have. please can't this be done or what could be the problem

Which exact card do you have, and which exact IOS version ? The two information are available looking at the complete output of "show diag" and "show version".
