Did you try using another SFTP server product. I guess 3com has one which is good

i already used 3 sftp server software. the problem reside in CCM

If the server has been successfuly added as a backup device it suggests that there is no problem connecting to the server i.e. authentication. Thus, you may want to start looking at the transfer itself i.e. file location.

May sound ridiculous but have you tried changing the directory?

I had a few problems with backups on CUCM 6.x but found that especially the free sftp servers did not work until I used a "lower depth" path i.e C:\XXXX rather than C:\XXXX\YYYY\.

Also, where are you specifying the path for backup?

It is normally more reliable to specify the root within the SFTP server and have the path on the CUCM specified simply as '\'.
