No, it's a bug. reload the router and you will be able to add the DP.

I have seen this error before, and usually its because you dont have enough memory left to add another dial peer.

that's what I thought

hq-3825-voip#show memory free totals

Head Total(b) Used(b) Free(b) Lowest(b) Largest(b)

do you think I need to add more memory ?

thank you

No, it's a bug. reload the router and you will be able to add the DP.

that solved my issue

thank you

No sweat. If you could convince that TAC that's a bug and get it filed, that would be a big favor to the community. Unfortunately it's very difficult.

Thanks for the nice rating and good luck!

You ran into a memory leak that to my knowledge has not been fixed yet. I have encountered it on all releases but 12.4XC. Only solution is reload the router, but it will happen again.

So if you don't want to downgrade, preconfigure all the DPs that you plan to need in the future.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
