Folks, when I try to add a dial peer to a
cisco 3825 running IOS c3825-spservicesk9-mz.124-11.T4.bin
I get the following error:
ERROR: could not add peer
Do you know what do I need to do ?

No, it's a bug. reload the router and you will be able to add the DP.

I have seen this error before, and usually its because you dont have enough memory left to add another dial peer.

No, it's a bug. reload the router and you will be able to add the DP.

No sweat. If you could convince that TAC that's a bug and get it filed, that would be a big favor to the community. Unfortunately it's very difficult.

You ran into a memory leak that to my knowledge has not been fixed yet. I have encountered it on all releases but 12.4XC. Only solution is reload the router, but it will happen again.
So if you don't want to downgrade, preconfigure all the DPs that you plan to need in the future.
