WCS 4404 LAG - CDP From 6500 - Strange output

Guys,

I have two 4404s connected to two different 6500 switches.

They have two ports connect to each switch in LAG mode. Lets say 1/1 and 2/1 on the 6500s.

When I do a show cdp nei from the 6500, on port 1/1 I see two entries showing the local interface as 1/1 and the remote interfaces being unit 0 slot 0 port 1 and unit 0 slot 0 port 2.

On port 2/1 i see no cdp neighbor entries?

Is this normal and just cosmetic?

You have the etherchannel setup correctly on the 6500?

How do you have the etherchannel setup and the port-channel. You should see cdp on both ports.

What is the output on the show etherchannel
