SIP Trunk configuration - from field requirements

I am trying to get Outbound Sip calls to work on my CM 6 using a SIP trunk. I am not opposed to using CUBE, but would like to avoid as that will require a router upgrade. Inbound calls work fine. Outbound calls need formatted so that the carrier sees the assigned phone [email protected] ip address along with a username and password combination. I believe I should be using a SIP Realm for digest authentication and the SIP Security set up for Digest, but I am not sure if I am on the right path or if this is feasible in CM 6 without CUBE. Please let me know what direction I need to head here. Thanks in advance for any help.
