Hi,

I am a starter as far as IPS is concerned. Can anybody refer some documents for basic concepts and configuration of IPS.

If you work for a Cisco Partner you can access the IPS Express (CCSP) Online Course, its more than enough to get you started, I think its from Thomson NETG.

I would also recommened the IPS CBT from 'CBT Nuggets', Jeremy does a great job in explaining and illustrating the various IPS concepts and technologies

And of course, your best friend is the Cisco Website.

Worth mentionning that the IPS Express Online course deals only with 5.0. To be comfortable with 6.x, they suggest an instructor led course :(
