DMA Fails while running

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to upgrade a CUCM 4.0(2a)sr1a (running OS version 2000.4.2sr10) to CUCM 6.0. After I got rid of all of the Callmanager Upgrade Utility errors.

But when I try to run the Database Migration Assistant (v6.0.1a) I'm hitting a couple of errors. One of them is kinda strange because it should reside in the CUCM 4.1.3:

"--- Begin Pre-Migrating DB To Required Initial Version [if needed] (Step 1 of 5)

--- Begin Consolidating Logs (Step 3 of 5)

--- End -- Exporting CCM DB

Failure, Pre-SD CCM Migration

modExportDatabase=Failure

Could not complete database processing successfully.

Failed to back up exportable format of Cisco CallManager databases."

CSCsk41261 (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/dma/6_0_1/dma-rel_note-601a.html).

The other ones I wasn't able to find on the Cisco webpage.

If you need any additional logs, please let me know!

Best regards,

Paul van den IJssel

Possibly related to CSCse65018

Workaround may be:

4.1(3)->5.1(2)->6.0(1)

or

4.1(3)->4.2(2a)->6.0(1)

or

4.1(3)->4.2(3)->6.0(1)

When the error occurs normal DMA logs are not adequate to diagnose the

problem because this is a failure in the premigration need to review all logs from

c:\install to identify why the premigrate failed. For CM6.x the premigrate

migrates data from older versions to a CM4.2 database schema. For CM5.x the

premigrate migrates data from older versions to a CM4.1 database schema.
