Is it possible to get an external ip-address on the wan interface of the asa, and let the router do the pppoa athentication. Even when the ISP has given you only one external ip-adres...? If yes how should the config looklike.

Thnx

Hi

AFAIK you can do a manual static nat mapping the external ip address to the ip address assigned to the wan interface of the ASA.

I dont think you will be able to assign the same ip address on both the devices i.e., on your router as well as on your ASA box.
