the major advantage is that the redundacy and the major disadvantage is that anyone can spoof the vpn routes. Because when the packet will come to the asbr routers it will only look forward for the next hop label and never look for the vpn label which is in the stack and that label may be facked in that case. Another dis. is the improper route advertisements.
