Hi

I have stacked 2 switches 3750 one is master and another is member. Now i have configured this stack switch as DHCP server.

My problem is when the master switch goes down and comes up then the DHCP service is stopped. If i connect any new PC to switch 1 or 2 it is not getting IP address from the switch.

Please verify the DHCP configuration using the following documents:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.1_19_ea1/configuration/guide/swdhcp82.html

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750/software/release/12.2_25_sea/configuration/guide/swdhcp82.html

Also please send the output of the following commands:

show dhcp server

show dhcp lease

show ip dhcp server statistics

show ip dhcp binding

show ip dhcp conflict

show ip dhcp database

Thanks. Sorry for my delay in response. As i was in a hurry to bring up the site I didnt stack the switch. Now both are standalone master. One switch is configured as the DHCP server. The link you have provided is very useful to me.
