WLC Standard/Enable Password

Unanswered Question

Hi everyone,

Is there such a concept as a standard (read-only) password and enable (config) password functionality on the WLCs?

Would be handy :)

PS. we use a TACACS server for access.

Cheers,

Ken

I have this problem too.

You can define read only users, and read and write users (from Management / local management users). The user you create during the initial setup wizard is read/write, you can create others afterwards.

Can I apply this template to TACACS as all users use TACACS to login?

Many thx once again mate.

What about changing the Login sequence. There is a button on the WLCs and WCS to define which technique is used first, for example Local, then TACACS,...

But it has nothing to do with what Jerome said. It is a different template...
