If I am using TACACS with WCS, is ACS a necessity for the security server or could I use other equipment to work?

Thank you very much

I have this problem too.

If you want to authenticate to a radius server, then you can use IAS or any other radius server if you want. For WLC's you check the management user in the radius server.

You mean if you are using a server with TACACS in a LWAPP environment? WCS and the WLC's is authenticating to TACACS. You don't need ACS, but you need a radius server that supports TACACS. Hope this ansewers your questions.
