sending it to NNM via SNMP

LMS 2.6 able to send syslog automatic action via SNMP to NNM. without NNM integration. LMS and HPOV NNM on different box. or I have to have install LMS inegration software on the box. both on solaris box.any body can tell me the step or any link for more info. thank you in advance

There is no trap mechanism built into RME's Automated Action facility. You would have to write a script to do this, and call some tool which can generate traps. I know of the snmptrap command in the Net-SNMP suite (http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net). You could script this command to send traps to NNM upon reception of certain syslog messages.

activate other than automatic sys log tools?

like from DFM.because looks to me DFM has SNMP

trap capability. just to avoid. writing the script. I'm really appreciating your help!!!

DFM does not handle port-security events.
