SCA BB not able to config or retrieve service config from SCE2020

The problems come from when i add wrong format in Params Prefix in HTTP URL in flavor setting after save SCABB are not able to save or retrieve config from SCE box need work around to delete wrong flavor from SCE box by command line.

error in SCA BB show that it fail to retrieve config because there were error format in Params Prefix/ in flavor setting

Failed to retrieve:

org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.Resource$IOWrappedException: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0xf)was found in the value of attribute "paramsPrefix" and element is "httpUrl"

From the given problem description I believe that your SCE is either got into "failure" mode or from some other reason the SCAS BB application was unloaded. Issue the CLI command "show system operation-status" If the SCE is not in failure mode i.e. ("operational" mode) It needs support file from that SCE.

The problems is slove now the error happen because applying policy with illegal chars.

SCA-BB allows applying policy with illegal chars - further retrive fail

the work around is use command line to delete the service config

SCE#delete engage/myengage.pqb

and then reapply with the backup one.
