CTIOS desktop

Pls advice on the following..

Customer calls IVR-CVP studio application and gets transfered to an ctios agent desktop with callvar1 as "12345". Customer and agent are in conversation and CVP port is released. Then the agent puts a conference back to IVR, wherein the same customer enters a different value for callvar1 for example callvar1="67890" can this updated value be passed on to the same agents callvar1.

The problem is the new updated value callvar1="67890" is reflected in ICM logs during a conference but its not being updated in ctios desktop callvar1 variable.

Any advice..

As long as the same call is active that variable is not going to be updated. You may want to use 2nd variable or have the call come to the agent as new call.
