that caveat is for config-archve lockup during attempts to deal with menu-based (vs. CLI-based) devices.
what implications for having c3900/3920 devices in LMS? supported? deprecated?

This bug only affects 1900/2820 series switches. The old token-ring 3900 series are not supported by config archive.
