ASA 5510 sec bun sh version

Unanswered Question

Hi,

Don't know this is the right place to post this or not?I ordered ASA 5510 with sec plus license.I got it and after looking in the show version it is showing me the config as attached.Data sheets states 100 VLANs,64Mb Flash,5 security context and 250 ipsec tunnels.Do let me know is there anything wrong with this?I can see there is nothing there in external flash card slot. Moreover showing only 25 vlans,150 vpn peers and no security context.

Do let me know is there any command to enable this or Cisco is claiming big features in the data sheets only.

Reg,

Sushil

Sushil you are using a very old version of code. The number of VLANs, VPN peers (250), Two Gigabit Interfaces are all features that were introducted in 7.1.x and 7.2.x. For example the Two Gigabit interface support was introduced in 7.2.3 (If i remember correctly). So make sure you upgrade your box to the latest code (preferably 7.2.3 or something) and then compare it with the data sheet:
