Why I cannot configure the codec g729a & g729ab at dial-peer voice or voice codec class in AS5350XM.
I noticed in the datasheet in this link for IP-IP GW,
all codec for G729 are supported.

In some models you configure that under voice-cards. Others support flexi complexity and it's all automatic. You are never presented the choice of annex a or not with cisco gateways.
However, if you're using SIP, there are special cases:

Hi, g.729a is an alternative algorithm and doesn't change compressed format, so is compatible and transparent for use with a non-a endpoint.
You choose which one is actually used with "codec complexity".
G.729b is the variation with embedded vad and would run as g.729ab depending on the codec complexity as above.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

What do u mean by codec compelxity? I cannot choose or configured any of that either high or medium in the voice gateway. How to achieve that?
