Strange dial-up config Is this possible

Hi,

I have a system which uses synchronous modems via a leased line for inter-site connectivity, I need to replace the leased line with a dial up link (no ADSL or ISDN available), but I can not remove one of the modems due to it being integrated into the system.

Will the following work?

Site A

The output of the fixed synchronous modem routed to one port of an analogue modem card (WIC-2AM-V2 fitted in a 2801), the second analogue modem port would then be configured as dial-up to work over POTS.

Site B

The POTS would be connected to a dial-up analogue modem (WIC-2AM-V2 fitted in a 2801), the data would then be fed out via a serial card (WIC-1T) using RS232 to the system.

Thanks

I have this problem too.
