IDM Access after an Upgrade

Hi, I recently upgraded my IDSM-2 from 5.0(2) to 6.0(4a)E1. But I could not access it over IDM. Has anyone ever encountered this issue before? I was wondering if I have missed something or I have to patch anything.

Maybe its something related to Java requirements changing between the releases. Do the following:

1) Try different browsers

2) Try Different PCs

3) Try using Java 1.5.x and not 1.6.x. Make sure you have it selected under IE >> Internet Options >> Advanced >> Java (Sun)

4) Try setting the Java Memory size -Xmx256m in the Control Panel Java.

Just in case also re-check the network-settings/ACLs in the service host / network settings. (But if these were not correct, telnet will not function also)
