7975 user guide is not available

Hi,

We are running UCM 5.1.3 cluster.

We are not able to find 7975 IP Phone user Guide:(it shows http error)

https://x.x.x.x:8443/PhoneGuides/locales/en_us/PhoneOnlineGuide/7975/75sccp.pdf

Please let me know how to upload the user guide.

There is no specific 7975 User Guide for CCM 5.x Here is a pretty good version that should work :)

Can it possible to upload 7975 user guide manually in UCM 5.x so that user can download the guide from there user page(ccmuser).

Hi Rob,

I am having the same issue with the 7962/6242.pdf. This is accessible when I choose the US locale, but not for the UK locale. Seems a little strange as the UK locale is installed and appears to be available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sure sounds like a bug to me. What CUCM Version are you running? There is a similar bug in 5.1(x) for 7941/7961 and other Locales.

Symptom:

German, French and Italian user guides for 7961/41 not downloadable from user web page.

getting following error:

HTTP status 404

The requested resource (/phoneguides/locales/de_de/phoneonlineguide/7961/6141sccp.pdf) is not available.

Conditions:

CCM 5.1.1 with following locale installed:

cm-locale-combined_network-5.1.1.0-1.cop

cm-locale-de_DE-5.1.1.0-1012.cop

cm-locale-fr_FR-5.1.1.0-1.cop

cm-locale-it_IT-5.1.1.0-1.cop

Workaround:

user can change the URL with following:

https://x.x.x.x/PhoneGuides/locales/fr_fr/7961/6141sccp.pdf

It will bring up the corresponding user guide for the language selected.

or you can use the online help guide from Cisco.com :

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_ipphon/index.htm

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the response… We are running version 6.1.2 and as far as I am aware the bug you mention is no longer an issue (well at least this is what I am led to believe from the forum etc)

I am considering trying a newer locale?
