Unity 4.X perfDisk event id 2001

Event Source PerfDisk event id 2001 warnings are flooding my Unity system app log every other second. Is there a way to stop these messages? I know there is a way to enable and disable perfmon warnings but not sure if that would work in this scenario as well? Any suggestions?

Try run the following command from a command (DOS) prompt:

perdisk -y
