i have a two switches for two seperate depts,i would like to configure mac address filtering on the switch so that users cannot communicate with each other.can someone help with configuration guide.
Why have you targeted MAC address filtering as your strategy to separate these two logical departments? I think a better solution would be to give them each their own IP address space and configure an access control list between the two to prevent access.
While it'll be much easier to just implement different ip space for both the deptt, if you're not doing it for some administrative reasons, its understandable.
