hi,

i have about 400 ap`s some with CDP some without, how can i apply the CDP setting to all AP`s via my WCS withouh overwriting the individual settings for each ap on antenna, channel, name, power etc..

i.e just activate that setting globally on all AP`s from WCS.

any help ?

cheers

You should be able to create an access point template and just enable that feature and apply it to the ap's. All other settings will not change.

thanks m8,

yes i had worked it out already.. i only applied CDP enabled on the tablet and applied to one controller.. the result was power and channel settings went back to auto ? but CDP was enabled.

strangley even though i have checked my WCS and WLAN for CDP settings and they have all been applied correctly.. i still get a WCS 'false' WLAN 'true' on my audit report next to CDP settings ?

any ideas ?
