Is there a way to veiw what calls were placed by which extensions?

Hi friend,
If you are using CallManager, you can use Call Detail Records. Check this link:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/cdr_defs/3_x/cdr32.html
If you are using CallManager Express, you can achieve this by enabling accounting and send all accounting information to a radius server, for example.
Also, there are some third-party billing application servers that connect to SQL Server (in case CCM 4.X) or FTP (in case CCM 5.X/6.X).
There are also for CallManager Express, such as this:

Hi Jeremy,
This info does show up for 3rd generation IP Phone models like 7941/7942/7945 or 7961/7962/7965. (This does not work on IP Phone models like 7940/7960). As you scroll through the Placed Calls when the Dialed number is highlighted on the bottom left of the display you can see which DN placed the call.
For example if my phone has DN 5126 and DN 6007. Each Placed Call in the Call History will show either;
On 5126
or
On 6007
to designate which DN originated the call.
Hope this helps!

Hello Rob,
I'm hoping you might be able to lead me down the correct path to decifering CM6.1 CDR. I can't seem to find a clean cut answer. I did work with TAC which helped but I'm being told the times are still off.
TAC provided the following formula to use in Excel: =A1/86400+DATE(1970,1,1) When I inquired about converting to EST I was informed Excel would handle correcting the time? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jason

Hi friend,
If I'm not misunderstanding your question, you have problems with the time of the CDRs generated by CCM.
The CDR time fields(dateTimeConnect, dateTimeDisconnect) are in GMT. EST is GMT-4:00 (if i'm not wrong), so you need to substract 4 hours to the result of A1/86400+DATE(1970;1;1).

Hello Adrian,
Thank you for the reply. That's what I thought as well. It could very well be I'm not understanding and entering the formula correctly. Below are examples of what has been attempted:
dateTimeOrigination: 1209038419
=B4/86400+DATE(1970,1,1)
4/24/08 12:00 PM
=B4/(86400-14400)+DATE(1970,1,1)
12/23/15 4:48 AM
=((B4/86400+DATE(1970,1,1))-14400)
11/20/68 12:00 PM
I appreciate any help on this. Although in CM4.1 the CDR were no more friendly, we had the formula to produce the correct date/time.
Thanks,
Jason

Hi friends,
Jason, may be you can query the CDR database and substract 14400 to the dateTimeConnect and dateTimeDisconnect fields (so you have now the time in EST)?. For example in CCM 4.X:
select (dateTimeConnect - 14400) from CallDetailRecord where originalCalledPartyNumber = '22222222'
Rob, why you don't work with CDRs? I like CDRs =). Thanks a lot for all your help!

- adrián.

Hi Jason,
If you want to do that in Excel apply:
=((A1-14400)/86400)+DATE(1970;1;1)

Hello and thank you Adrian and Rob for help, much appreciated. I don't understand why Cisco wouldn't include even just a little better reporting interface. I know that there are multiple 3rd party apps but I haven't been able to sell the need to the powers that be....
Thanks again for your time.
Jason
