I have configured a Cisco Call Manager 5.0 in a Lab with only 3 IP Cisco Phones. They can communicate between them, but I have not been able to configure the conference caracteristic among them. When I intend to make the conference an error message "No conference Bridge" appear in the display.
Can anyone help to me?
Thanks.
Pablo

Hi Pablo,
You will need to set up a Software Conference Bridge to test these features. Here is how;

just as a side note to the great info from Rob make sure the phones are talking G711 when testing since the SW CFB cannot handle other codecs

This is the same issue i had some time back. while playing around i confiured g.729 codec for the ip phones and then after few days I was trying to do conferencing which was not working.
Changed the codec back to 711 and things started working.
CallManager when configured as a software conference bridge is capable of supporting 711 conferences only.
