Hi all,

I have 4503 in my network and for the last 3 days its CPU utilization is touching almost 99%... No major changes have occured during the last 3. I have debugged a lot. Nothing unusual .. even restarted the entire switch but the problem persist. I have attached output of "sh processes cpu", "sh ver" as well. Any help please.

Regards,

Sheeraz

Hi, The "IP input" process has a high %, take a look at the next url, it may help you to find the problem:

This sounds like a case of process switching. Can you get a 'show platform health'?

Also, check your SVIs for input drops. Are there a lot of input drops on one of the SVIs? If so, get a sniffer set up in that vlan and see what you can see. =)
