I have looked in the forum and other people have had the problem and have indicated it could be a date time issue. I have set the date and time but when I do a "show Auth-list" i get nothing back like the following;

(Cisco Controller) >show auth-list

(Cisco Controller) >

can anyone help please, i am not sure what else to do

That is fine. Is the management and ap-manager both on vlan 60? Also they should be untaged and the switchport should be native vlan 60.

Did you upgrade the 1130 from IOS to LWAPP? If so you might need to add the SSC to the WLC.

Hi Fella5,

no this was not upgraded, it was just a out of the box AP

Capture the output from when you boot up the ap and post it. I would like to see the log from when the ap boots up.

Doesn't look like the ap is getting an ip address. You usually see the ap getting a dhcp unless it has a static. Also the ap doesn't try to use DNS to resolve. Is you wlc setup for layer 3 or layer 2.

post your show run-config.

it is using the layer 3 option, also i have not configured the dns server under the dhcp scope, will this have any effects?

That is fine. Is the management and ap-manager both on vlan 60? Also they should be untaged and the switchport should be native vlan 60.
