ISP Essentials Book - Wanted!!!

Unanswered Question
Jun 4th, 2008

Hi Guys

This may not be appropriate in these forums - but its all about helping eh!

I am desperatly looking for a copy of CiscoPress ISP Essentials.

I passed the CCNP in February and have landed a great Job with an ISP in the UK.

I am making a huge effort to learn all i can about working for an ISP (OSPF, BGP, Multicast etc...)

If anyone has a copy they want to get rid of (or sell) please ping me offline [email protected]

I will also post this in a few forums, just to get a bit extra exposure.

Thanks a bunch

I have this problem too.

Hi Michael,

A .ie like myself.... :)

Unfortunatly, Ciscopress are not selling it. Look at the top right hand corner of the product page 'This publication currently is not for sale'

Also, i'm not keen on Buying from amazon US all the way to ireland, had a bad experience before.

Cheers tho...

And, ya.. It's is supposed to be very good. :)

Cheers Again

Thanks rainer,

Call me old fashioned, but i still prefer printed media. It's much easier on the eyes.

I did get a PDF of it, which is great. But i would love to get a printed copy.

Thanks a bunch man.

it's the same for me i also prefer printed copies .. (the printed version is on my shelf :-)

but safari is somewhat nice for searching - because it is a full-text search over all ciscopress books ..

Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie ;)

Ya, safari is good site, used it many times. Will be handy to have there as a reference from the PC direct.

Nothing like flicking thru pages tho....

You sure you don't want to part with it... You can photocopy it first if you like ;)

I have a good friend,

His name is Harold Potter.

He'll sort out that spell quick enough :)

Sure, look, i'll give you a few days to think about about it. If not then i'll send him over to you. Ha ha ha.

Thanks all the same.

With my books I tend to fold the corner if I find something interesting on that page or potentially a trick question, hence my BCSI book is probably more folds than book now :D

Hi Stephen,

This is a few years old however I have a few questions:

Did you ever get a copy of this book?

Do you recommend someone reading it at this point?

Did it help you?
