cannot get boot start marker disappear

Here it is from show start:

boot-start-marker

boot system flash :c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.t5.bin

boot system flash:c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.T5.bin

boot-end-marker

I see where the boot system flash :

is wrong as there not supposed to be a space after flash. I have repeatedly entered the no boot statement with the space after flash and this wont get rid of it either. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this staement out of the show start? Much appreciated in advance.

Sorry, maybe that is not clear. I mean

no boot system flash^V :c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-15.t5.bin

wher the ^V represent the single character Ctrl-V.

Let us know if it works.

Sounds like an ugly bug. During a maintenance window, I would try doing a write erase, reload, and then copying in the old config.

Try putting a Ctrl-V just after the flash: but before the trailing space.

It might just work.
