Unity 4.2 Exchange Alias Change

Hi,

I have Unity 4.2 with UM setup and Exchange 2003.

I have to edit a few Subscribers to reference different Exchange alias. SA GUI does not allow that, none of the Unity Depot tools seem to allow it and the only way I have seen doing it is to edit Subscribers table in UnityDb.

Had anyone done it this way, cause it seems pretty simple? Any caveats encountered?

Hi David,

Change the alias in MS Active Directory instead. The change should consequently be propagated to the Unity database.

Hi

Not sure what you're trying to do here:

1) Change Exchange alias - if you change this in AD, it will sync into Unity (no change required on Unity)

2) Change a Unity account to point at a different AD account? - if this is what you want to do, use the 'Subscriber Migration Tool' to re-link to a new account.
