Voice Vlan Recording SPAN/RSPAN

Hi,

We have 2 x 4506 switches & phones plugged into both in voice vlan 220.

Vlan 220 is trunked between both switches.

We have a Nice recorder with one span NIC, which plugs into switch one Gi2/8.

I have the below config on switch 1.

monitor session 1 source vlan 220

monitor session 1 destination interface Gi2/8

It seems that only phones on switch one are recorded and phones on switch 2 are not.

I have tried using RSPAN, but with that config even phones on switch one are not recorded.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Hi, can you span on the switch that connected the GW ? This way all calls to PSTS should be recordable.

We have 2 gateways. One on each switch. So its the same problem. By doing it on the vlan we can record internal and external calls, but only for switch one.
